This website’s purpose is to share my travels to Mongolia in March 2012. I was selected as a “Civic Voices International Fellow” and awarded a trip to Mongolia to discuss civics education, democratic concepts, and exchange pedagogic strategies with Mongolian educators.   This is educational exchange journal and not a pure travel blog.  I will only spend 2 (out of the 7) days exploring historic sites in the capital and traditional cultural sites in the countryside. I will work with teachers and students in Ulaanbaatar (Ulan Bator), and meet with US Embassy officials.   I am an U.S. social studies educator from Florida.
